Marco

First Love

My fascination with photography began when I was five years old, holding my very first camera—an Agfamatic 50. That small object opened a world of curiosity: I was fascinated by the idea of freezing a moment, of being able to collect faces and moments of life into something lasting.

At fourteen, in a small second-hand bookshop, I discovered my first photography books. Those pages changed everything. They transformed my early fascination into a true passion—a passion that has never faded. From that day on, I devoted myself to studying photography, combining theoretical knowledge with endless hours of practical experimentation, working with my first professional camera and trying to imitate the images of great photographers who had captured my imagination.

Italian and European Masters

Furthermore, growing up in Italy, I was surrounded by the legacy of great masters who shaped the history of art and beauty. Living in such a culturally rich environment taught me to appreciate harmony, proportion, and elegance—values that naturally became part of my visual language. This heritage continues to inspire my work every day.

The musical experience: what it gave me.

Alongside photography, I studied music professionally for over twenty-five years. Music taught me discipline, precision, and emotional sensitivity. My understanding of rhythm and structure have transformed into—qualities that now influence the way I compose my photographs. In both music and photography, there is a search for harmony and balance: this is the key to creating beauty.

My photographic style

My photographic style reflects this lifelong journey. It is defined by a deep attention to light and composition, guided by the pursuit of beauty in its most authentic form. Every portrait, every wedding, every story I tell through images is an attempt to capture not just what I see, but what I feel.

What truly drives me is people—their emotions, their stories, their unique ways of expressing feeling and connection. I believe that photography is a dialogue, an exchange of trust and empathy. My natural ability to connect with others allows me to translate those invisible bonds into timeless, evocative images.
